What is the warranty on ProTech window tint?

ProTech Monte-Carlo window tints come with a 10-year warranty against peeling, scratching, bubbling, and discoloration.

What is the difference between Ceramic and Variochromic tint?

Ceramic Tint rejects up to 87% of infrared (IR) heat at a fixed shade, while Variochromic Tint adapts to the light and rejects up to 92% of IR heat. Both block 99% of UV rays and come with a 10-year warranty. Variochromic is ProTech’s highest performing film for heat rejection in Kuwait.

Does ProTech window tint block heat?

Yes. ProTech’s Variochromic Tint rejects up to 92% of infrared heat, and Ceramic Tint rejects up to 87%. At the darkest legal shade (50%), the film keeps out up to 62% of the sun's total energy. Both significantly reduce cabin heat and improve driving comfort in Kuwait’s climate.

Is ProTech window tint legal in Kuwait?

Yes. Under Ministerial Decision No. 1398 of 2025, Kuwait allows window tint of up to 50% on all windows except the front windshield, which must stay clear. Reflective or mirror films are not allowed. Every ProTech window tint shade, from clear to 50%, is within the legal limit. These rules are set by the Ministry of Interior – Traffic Authority.

Does the tint interfere with phone signal, GPS or sensors?

No. ProTech films use metal-free nano-ceramic technology, so they do not interfere with wireless signals, GPS, Bluetooth, or vehicle sensors.
